City of Norwich: Piggin Antecedents

next
22nd June 1675: Thomas Piggin and Esther Graver, daughter of Robert Graver of Hevingham, both single of St. Clement, Norwich, marry at St. George Colegate, Norwich. Their son John would have been born in 1680. Esther died 1681. Thomas married again.

The material on this page was extensively re-researched by David Booty in England in 2010. He has found various errors and has done a very thorough investigation of the various branches of this family, generating a 60-page report on nine generations of descent from Thomas and Esther.

David has kindly consented to publish the report on this website here: The Piggin Family of Norwich. This is a large (430 KB) PDF file. The broad outline on the page below is correct, but until such time as we reconcile the files, I recommend you rely on David's closer study in matters of detail.
