Frederick, bootmaker, of The Potteries, Staffordshire born c.1825, Worcester St. Johns married Jane Westall 1848c at St Johns, Wolverhampton. She apparently died 1855b at Wolverhampton and this may have prompted him to leave Wolverhampton. possibly remarried 1857b: in 1881 census his wife is named as Ann (approx birthdate 1837, probable death at Wolstanton 1892a) one child (of this putative second marriage) died in infancy:
